The short version and the long one

The short version: only scan sites you have the right to scan, don't abuse the tool, and understand that we're telling you what we found, not giving you legal or compliance advice. The rest of this page is the same thing, said carefully.

These terms cover air.ten7.com, the AI Readiness Index scanning tool run by Ten 7 Interactive, LLC ("TEN7," "we," "us"). Using the site — running a scan, asking for a report, signing in — means you agree to them. If you don't, the only thing we can ask is that you not use the tool.

What this tool does

It reads a page (or, for a full scan, several pages) of a website you point it at, checks it against the AI Readiness Index, and shows you the result. It's a measurement, not a guarantee: it tells you what our 68 checks found on the day we ran them, against how AI crawlers and assistants behaved on that day. It is not a promise about how any particular AI system will treat your site in the future, and it is not legal, accessibility, or compliance advice.

Only scan what you're allowed to scan

Submit a URL only if you own the site, work on it, or otherwise have the right to have it crawled and evaluated. Don't use this tool to probe, harass, or gather information about a site you have no relationship to. We reserve the right to refuse, rate-limit, or block any scan we believe is being used this way.

Using the tool reasonably

This is a free tool, and we'd like to keep it that way for everyone. Don't try to circumvent the rate limits, automate large volumes of scans against it, or use it in a way that degrades it for other people. Don't attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the scanning service itself — the software that runs it is proprietary (see licensing); the methodology it's built on is separately open, and you're welcome to implement that yourself.

Accounts

Signing in is optional and uses your Google account, through WorkOS. You're responsible for keeping that account secure — we never see or store its password. We may suspend or remove an account used to abuse the tool or violate these terms.

What we don't promise

We built this carefully, but we provide it as is, without warranties of any kind — including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that a passing score means an AI system will actually be able to use your site. Findings and remediation notes are our best assessment, not a certification.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows it, TEN7 isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this tool — including decisions made based on a scan result. Because this service is offered free of charge, our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to $0.

Changes

We may change these terms, the Index, or the tool itself as we improve it. If a change to these terms is significant, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the tool after that means you accept the change.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
